In 2024, I was commissioned to create the brand identity for Café De Linden, located at Lindengracht 65 in Amsterdam. This charming corner spot embodies the essence of a traditional Dutch "brown bar" — a local institution akin to a pub. The visual identity needed to reflect the character of the space, with subtle nods to the Amsterdamse School design movement, while seamlessly fitting into the broader portfolio of bars and restaurants owned by the proprietor. Illustration work was an integral part of the identity, helping to capture the cozy atmosphere of the café while adding a personal touch to the overall design.
